Welcome back to the DC Comics Movie Tournament everyone! Last round’s voting confirmed what most people expected. With only four teams remaining, Christopher Nolan’s dominance in the DC universe is obvious. All three films in Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy advanced with relative ease. The only other film left is Zack Snyder’s 2009 film Watchmen. It’s tough to tell if Watchmen really is the fourth favorite film in the tournament or if it was just luckier enough to land in a non-Nolan quarter of the bracket. I suspect V for Vendetta may have done well in that final spot (instead it was steamrolled by The Dark Knight).
It seems easy to predict how the final two rounds (and three match-ups) will play out. The last interesting match-up will probably by this round’s match between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises. But there’s only one way to find out. (Voting. Voting is the way to find out…)
