2015 Flashback Awards

EDIT: Please note, the original version of this post omitted Bryan Cranston from the list of Best Actor nominations. He has been added in the #3 spot below for his role in Trumbo. The rest of the list shifted down to accommodate Cranston’s inclusion

  1. Awesome awards! Good to see Coogler getting some recognition for directing Creed. I still think Rooney Mara should be lead actor, but I understand. Good to see Carol get the win for the big one. Looking forward to the break down. I just did the same for our Unity Movie Awards over at taleoftwodans.com , with podcast analysis on categories. Pretty fun actually. I hope you like them. Do you need any help for the Flashforward? That sounds really dope too.

    • I thought Coogler did a great job. I originally had Mara as lead actress (and would have put her at #3 behind Larson and Blunt) but switched her once the Oscar noms came out. The upside is that I get to give her the Supporting Actress win (I’m not crazy about the rest of the category though I haven’t seen Alicia Vikander in The Danish Girl). I loved the Unity Movie Awards! You guys did a great job. I’m bummed I couldn’t join in this time. I’d love help with the Flashforward. I made a list of 60 movies so far (pulled form IMDB and other lists already published) and will break them down by category (comic book movies, sequels, reboots, etc). Let me know if you’d like to join!
